BMW UDS Sniffer - Live BMW diagnostic traffic capture & decoder (ENET/ICOM)
Windows desktop app that sits between your PC and your BMW while ISTA (or any EDIABAS-based tool) is running, and shows the UDS/HSFZ diagnostic traffic in plain English.**What it does:**
- **Live packet capture** — intercepts diagnostic traffic between the software and the car over ENET (direct ZGW link) or ICOM. No Wireshark or manual filters needed.
- **Human-readable decoding** — instead of raw hex, you see `ReadDID VIN = "WBAxxxxxxxxxxxx"`, `DiagnosticSessionControl → extendedDiagnostic`, `NegativeResponse NRC=conditionsNotCorrect`, etc. ECU names (ZGW, CAS, DME, DSC, KOMBI, EPS…) resolved automatically.
- **Network discovery** — scans local network for BMW ZGW (ENET) and ICOM devices, lists targets with VIN pre-filled when available.
- **Export** — saves decoded sessions to structured, timestamped text files (diffable, searchable, shareable).
- **Filter** — live text filter on packet list (by ECU, 5ёяvїcё, DID).

- Feel free to share your "live capture" exports to help improve it (always useful).
- **No dedicated support**. Updates may or may not happen depending on availability/interest.
